The 'Maleficent' actress goes vintage in a 1900s-inspired costume on the set of upcoming fantasy drama 'Come Away'.

AceShowbiz - Angelina Jolie has traded her Maleficent horns for a blonde wig. The Academy Award-winning actress has been spotted for the first time in costume on the set of her new movie, "Come Away", which is billed as a "Peter Pan"-"Alice in Wonderland" prequel.

In some pictures obtained by Daily Mail, the 43-year-old star was wearing a period costume when spotted on the set in Hollywood on Monday, September 24. She was sporting curly, blonde hair, which was pinned in an updo with a shell comb. She donned a white blouse, which was tucked into a long skirt, with a green apron tied around her waist.

Also seen on the set that day was child actor Jordan Nash, who is tapped to portray Peter. The 10-year-old London-born actor, who auditioned for "Britain's Got Talent" season 2 in 2013, was wearing a pink shirt and grey shorts, while carrying a book in his hand.

Jolie and David Oyelowo play wife and husband, who are parents to Peter and Alice, in the movie. The new fantasy drama film imagines Peter and Alice growing up as brother and sister. When their eldest brother dies in a tragic accident, they each seek to save their parents from their downward spirals of despair until finally they are forced to choose between home and imagination, setting the stage for their iconic journeys into Wonderland and Neverland.

Newcomer Keira Chansa stars as Alice. Also joining the cast are Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Michael Caine, Anna Chancellor, Clarke Peters and many more. Brenda Chapman ("Brave") is serving behind the lens, with the script provided by Marissa Kate Goodhill. Jolie and Oyelowo are also producing along with Leesa Kahn, Andrea Keir and James Spring.

Filming started in London in August. No release date is set for the movie just yet.

Jolie recently wrapped up the filming of "Maleficent 2", which is due out in the U.S. on May 29, 2020.
