AceShowbiz - The Mr. Nice Guy who wowed "America's Got Talent" judges with his voice has been arrested for domestic violence.
Dad-of-six Michael Ketterer, who performed a Garth Brooks song the country superstar wrote especially for him, during Wednesday night's (September 19) final results show, was taken into custody by police officials in Los Angeles following an alleged altercation with his wife on Thursday.
He was booked on a felony and then released after posting $50,000 (GBP38,000) bail, according to TMZ.
Ketterer, who finished fifth on this season's "AGT", insists the drama was all a big "misunderstanding," although he admits he and his wife got into an argument in their hotel room and cops were called.
Law enforcement sources tell the outlet the case will be downgraded to a misdemeanour.
Ketterer was top judge Simon Cowell's 'golden buzzer' choice on "AGT".
It is not clear if his arrest will affect his plans to join Garth Brooks onstage at an upcoming Notre Dame Stadium show in Indiana - the singer announced he'd be performing Garth's song "Courage to Love" with the country star at the concert.
