AceShowbiz - The Wednesday, September 19 finale of "America's Got Talent" season 13 would see one of the 10 finalists crowned as winner. Only one among Courtney Hadwin Shin Lim, Michael Ketterer, Vicki Barbolak, Samuel J. Comroe, Glennis Grace, Daniel Emmet, Brian King Joseph, Zurcaroh and Duo Transcend would come out as the winner.
Kicking off the big night was legendary rock band KISS, who delivered an energetic perfomance of their hit "Detroit Rock City". The electric performance was later followed by an epic stage by Glennis Grace and Bebe Rexha, who joined forces to belt out Bebe's song with Florida Georgia Line, "Meant to Be".
Courtney Hadwin then hit the stage alongside The Struts. They performed an epic rendition of Janis Joplin's "Piece of My Heart". Later, Daniel Emmet took the stage to sing a remarkable duet with opera legend Placido Domingo.
Meanwhile, Vicki Barbolack teamed up with David Spade for a hilarious stand-up comedy in which she talked about his hit film "Joe Dirt". Michael Ketterer then sang a song written by Garth Books after Simon Cowell asked the latter earlier in the season. Michael Ketterer nailed the song, which is titled "Courage to Love".
Alongside host Tyra Banks, "American Ninja Warrior" stars Matt Iseman and Akbar Gbaja-Biamila then joined magician Shin Lim. The mesmerizing act was later followed by Brian King Joseph and two-time Billboard Music Award winner Lindsey Stirling's equally stunning performance. While they performed, Duo Trascend was doing their acrobatic movies.
Zurcaroh then erupted on to the stage, delivering their show-stopping and haunting performance.
Following the performances, it was time to learn the results. Zurcaroh and Duo Transcend were brought to the stage, and Tyra announced that Zurcaroh was voted through and was among the Top 5. Also among the Top 5 was Shin Lim, while Daniel Emmet was eliminated.
Next up were Brian King Joseph and Glennis Grace. Only one of them made to the Top 5 and that was Brian King Joseph. Joining them was Samuel J. Comroe, while Vicki was kicked out of the competition.
With that Michael Ketterer and Courtney Hadwin was left in jeopardy. Many thought the result was obvious with Courtney making into the Top 5. However, in the most shocking result of the night, Tyra announced that it was Michael who was among the best 5.
Amid boos and grunts from the audience, Tyra revealed that Michael took the 5th place. Simon looked noticeably upset because of the result, but he promised Michael that he'd continue his relationship with him after the show. Finishing in the fourth place was Samuel J. Comroe.
Brian King Joseph was named as the third place finisher. It meant the winner was either Zurcaroh or Shin Lim. And the winner is Shin Lim. Congratulations!
