One day before attending the 2018 Emmy Awards, the model wife of John Legend revealed to fans that she fell down the stairs.

AceShowbiz - Chrissy Teigen will be sporting a few nasty bruises on the red carpet at the Emmy Awards on Monday, September 17 after falling down the stairs at home on Sunday night.
The 32-year-old model and cookbook author took to social media shortly after her tumble to show off a nasty mark on her leg.
"Ughh, I just fell down the stairs. It's Emmys tomorrow," Teigen wrote under the photo.

Teigen will be at the Emmys as a presenter while also supporting her husband John Legend, who is nominated for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Limited Series or Movie for his role as Jesus Christ in "Jesus Christ Superstar Live! in Concert".
Legend became a member of the exclusive Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, Tony (EGOT) club after winning a big prize at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards earlier this month.
