His latest album, 'Bloom', performs well on music charts in addition to receiving rave reviews from music critics.

AceShowbiz - Troye Sivan's fame just keeps getting higher. The South Africa-born singer might have initially known as a Youtube personality who came out as gay before reaching fame, but he won't let his queer status interrupted his work in music. His latest album, "Bloom", is a prove of that.

"Bloom" debuted at No. 4 on Billboard 200 chart after racking up 72,000 unit albums. It marked his highest-charting album and best sales week to date on the chart. The set additionally received rave reviews from music critics, with Douglas Greenworld of The Independent giving it a perfect score.

Greenworld noted that Sivan did a great job at making a perfect pop music. "With one foot in pop's past and another in its present, 'Bloom' is a record that could turn its considerate maker into one of mainstream music's most revered and fascinating talents," he said.

The album was also well received in other countries, such as his native country Australia, Canada and the United Kingdom. The effort peaked at No. 3 on ARIA music chart in addition to peaking at No. 10 on U.K.'s OCC chart.

In support of the album, Sivan will be embarking on a North America tour called "Bloom". The trek will kick off on September 21 in Irving, Texas and run through November 8 in Vancouver, Canada. The tour marks his first headlining ever since starting out his career as a musician.

Prior to headlining his tour, Sivan previously hit the stage at Taylor Swift's "Reputation Stadium Tour" stop in Philadephia in addition to appearing as a musical guest on "Saturday Night Live". He also took the stage at Pittsburgh Pride on June 8 as well as at Hersey, Pennsylvania's Hershepark Stadium for Show of the Summer.
