AceShowbiz - Ed Sheeran may not be far behind Taylor Swift in terms of No. 1 hits, but when it comes to exercise, he definitely has a lot to catch up. The British singer/songwriter couldn't keep up with his best friend during a hike together and she couldn't help poking fun at him.
Documenting their healthy activity in an Instagram video, the 28-year-old songstress panned the camera to show the "Perfect" hitmaker who was a few steps behind her. "You okay bro?" she asked him, as he appeared to be out of breath. Ed playfully responded by flipping the bird.
Taylor continued to roast Ed as she asked him later, "It's called exercise, have you ever done cardio?" He admitted, "Never, man." She cheekily added, "Strummin' a guitar doesn't count."
In another part of the video, Ed held the camera as he brought up the discussion about the recently announced 2018 American Music Awards nominations. Both of them are vying for the Artist of the Year title, being pitted against Drake among other artists.
Rooting for each other to win, Taylor and Ed said to each other at the same time, "You're gonna win." The country-turned-to-pop-superstar then corrected herself, "Drake's gonna win," and Ed agreed with her.
Taylor also wrote in the caption, "Safe to say whoever wins the AMA for fav pop/rock album will be an artist who writes songs about love and heartbreak YOU get to decide who it'll be. Vote at the link in my bio @AMAs."
Taylor is up for a total of four nods at the 2018 AMAs. Besides the Artist of the Year category, she got nominated for Tour of the Year, Favorite Female Artist - Pop/Rock and Favorite Album - Pop/Rock. Ed is also up for Tour of the Year and Favorite Album - Pop/Rock, in addition to eying the Favorite Song - Pop/Rock honor.
The winners will be announced on October 9 during a live telecast which airs on ABC starting at 8 P.M. EST.
