AceShowbiz - Rapper Young Thug is reportedly facing eight felony charges stemming from his drug arrest last year (17).

The Pick Up the Phone star was stopped by Georgia police officers in September, 2017 for driving around in a car with illegally tinted front windows, and during the traffic stop, the cops allegedly found marijuana and guns in the vehicle. He was booked on a felony drug count and a misdemeanour for the tinted windows, and during a court appearance, he was was also hit with a felony charge for gun possession.

He is also reportedly facing another felony charge for drug possession for narcotics and liquid codeine and possession and intent to distribute methamphetamine, hydrocodone, and marijuana, according to TMZ.

Young Thug, real name Jeffery Williams, is also dealing with legal issues stemming from an incident outside his 27th birthday party in Hollywood last month - the rapper's car was reportedly pulled over by cops after allegedly bumping into another vehicle, and during a search, several guns were found.

Williams is reportedly contesting law enforcement officials' account of the incident and claims he and his crew were not in the car when it was pulled over. An insider has also told TMZ two of Young Thug's associates had permits allowing them to carry weapons.
