AceShowbiz - Nicki Minaj felt like punching fellow rapper Travis Scott "in his face" after his album beat hers to the top of the Billboard chart.

The "Anaconda" rapper went on a rant on social media in August after learning that Travis' "Astroworld" had beaten her album "Queen" to the top of the U.S. charts. She accused him of managing to sell so many copies of his record by selling merchandise and tickets for his upcoming tour with album downloads and using his girlfriend Kylie Jenner's fame to promote his music.

Nicki opened up about it in a preview clip from Tuesday's (September 04) episode of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show", and explained that she wasn't going to stand for him using unfair tactics to boost sales.

"I felt like I wanted to punch him in his f**king face," she declared. "It's just what's right and what's wrong, what's fair... I've had a number two album (before) and I've never cared. It's just when you have a number two album to someone who's selling shirts and merch and selling passes for a tour that's not even announced yet, it feels like you're being tricked. It feels like someone is playing a game and beating you at a game as opposed to just selling music. I want to sell music."

The 35-year-old also made it clear that she's not ungrateful to her fans, because she's well aware that "things could be worse", but she had speak out and defend herself.

"I don't like being taken advantage of and sometimes people use scare tactics against you because they know, especially as a black woman, that people will call you angry or bitter," she explained. "So now it's almost like we're not allowed to defend ourselves or stand up for ourselves, and I'm not going to have that."

During the chat, the rapper also revealed that she has been "chilling" with someone new for the past couple of weeks, but still considers herself single. She also shared details about her sex life, revealing that she likes to do it "three times a night" if she doesn't see her man on a regular basis.
