The 'I Feel Pretty' actress insists that she loves her own body, which she claims to be 'strong, healthy and sexy.'

AceShowbiz - Amy Schumer knows how to give the best response to body-shamers. Taking to her Instagram Story on Thursday, August 30, the 37-year-old comedienne posted a screenshot of her conversation with an internet user who photoshopped her bikini picture. She also reposted the altered photo, which was compared with the unedited photo.

The internet user posted on the photo-sharing platform two pictures of Amy wearing a black-and-white tribal print bikini as she walked on the beach. The first picture showed Amy's real body while the second one saw the "Trainwreck" star with a slimmer body. "So I think Amy looks great already but man does she look way better I'm [sic] my OPINION in the second photo," the person wrote in the caption.

Amy responded calmly to the post, insisting that she loves her own body instead of the photoshopped one. "I disagree. I like how I really look. That's my body. I love my body for being strong and healthy and sexy," the "I Feel Pretty" actress said. "I look liked I'd give a good hug or have a drink with you. The other picture looks nice but it's not me. Thanks for sharing your thoughts as well. See, we're both right."

Amy then reposted both pictures on her Instagram Story along with the screenshot of her short conversation. "Real a** me," she wrote on the original photo.

Afterward, the person deleted the post and proceeded to apologize to Amy. "I'm sorry Amy, I had no idea you'd see this! I understand that this can be seen as negative but I really wasn't trying to be!" the user replied to Amy. "I was just curious and decided to see what you'd look like with my face tune app and I didn't realize that it was that bad."

The social media user added, "I'm sorry for my ignorance and I will take it down! I have no right to make people feel bad about themselves! Love you Amy both of your movies are amazing! 'I Feel Pretty' was a great movie and I hope you continue to be a successful comedian."

"It was unfair to do that to you. I didn't think much about it when I first posted the pic," the user admitted. "I'm glad people called out this post! That was a d**k move on my end. Well all I can do is apologize, I'm sorry."

Amy is known as one of celebrities who are proud of their own bodies. Back in 2017, the actress and comedian claimed that she felt uncomfortable being skinny. "I'm what Hollywood calls, very fat," she told audience on Netflix's "Amy Schumer: The Leather Special". "Somebody like explained to me, 'Just so you know, Amy, no pressure, but if you weigh over 140 lbs, it will hurt people's eyes' and I was like, 'Okay, I'm new to town. So I lost weight.' "

"I look very stupid skinny. My dumb head stays the same size but then my body, like, shrivels and just look like a, like a Thanksgiving Day parade [balloon] of Tonya Harding," she continued. "Nobody likes it. It's not cute on me."
