AceShowbiz - Lady GaGa made a splash in Italy. Even before she hit the red carpet of the Venice Film Festival, she knew how to gain attention with her personal trip in the city. The singer/actress was spotted riding a boat through the Adriatic Sea on Thursday, August 30.

The "A Star Is Born" female lead donned a little black bustier dress and oozed a vintage look as she styled her hair in 1940s-inspired Victory rolls, which remind us of Judy Garland's style. The late actress starred in the 1954 iteration of "A Star Is Born".

In the remake of the drama musical, GaGa stars as a talented unknown named Ally whose fates collides with Jackson Maine (Bradley Cooper), a country music star who is on the brink of decline. As the two begin a passionate love affair, Jack coaxes Ally into the spotlight, catapulting her to stardom. But as Ally's career quickly eclipses his own, Jack finds it increasingly hard to handle his fading glory.

Cooper also directed the movie, which is due out in the U.S. on October 5. GaGa co-wrote a number of the songs for the movie's soundtrack with Mark Ronson, Lukas Nelson and Jason Isbell.
