AceShowbiz - Singer Michelle Branch and her rocker fiance Patrick Carney have welcomed a baby boy.
The Breathe star gave birth to Rhys James Carney on Tuesday, August 28, and has now introduced the tot to fans on Instagram by sharing a photo of the sleeping child.
"Patrick and I are over the moon in love with our son Rhys James Carney born August 28th, 2018," the new mum captioned the picture.
Little Rhys is the 35-year-old musician's first child with Patrick; she also has a 13-year-old daughter, named Owen, from her marriage to ex-husband Teddy Landau.
Michelle announced her pregnancy in February, seven months after revealing she had become engaged to Black Keys drummer Carney, and admitted the unexpected news had forced them to put their wedding plans on hold.
"Well, we were just about to send out Save The Dates for our wedding in May when we got this little surprise," the singer wrote beside a sonogram of her unborn child.
"Baby Carney is happening this summer and Patrick and I couldn't be more excited!"
Michelle has been documenting her journey to motherhood on social media, and last week, begs August 20, she shared her excitement at meeting her second baby.
"Yup. Still pregnant...," she captioned a side shot of her bulging belly. "it feels like it's been 300 years. But I'm due this week!"
However, the little one was actually a few days late. Over the weekend, August 25-26, she posted a photo of three eggs in a carton, and wrote, "When you've passed your due date and your hens start laying their first eggs, you take it as a good omen... thought this baby was gonna be a Leo but Virgo it is!"
