Two of the late singer's three children as well as fellow musicians like Usher, Mark Ronson and Tinashe remember the King of Pop on what would've been his 60th birthday.

AceShowbiz - Prince Jackson and Paris Jackson honored their late father Michael Jackson on his 60th birthday at a special event in Las Vegas on Wednesday, August 29. Paris, 20, and her brother, 21, walked the red carpet at The Michael Jackson Diamond Celebration at the Mandalay Bay resort in Las Vegas - and expressed their awe at their dad's music career and generosity.

Prince told Entertainment Tonight, "Being here today is definitely an awe-inspiring feeling, because our father was the King of Pop and he did so much. He did so much for the music industry, but I think he put emphasis and importance on the charitable contributions to humanity that he really used his platform to (support)."

The event, held on the day Michael would have entered his seventh decade had he not died in 2009, featured a special performance of Cirque du Soleil's Michael Jackson "One" show. The singer was posthumously honored with the 2018 Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation Legacy Award for Humanitarian Service - an award two of his three kids accepted on his behalf. His youngest child, Prince Michael II, who is 16 years old, was not pictured with his siblings.

Paris said that although millions across the world took time out to celebrate her dad on his birthday - only her sibling could understand their feelings. "We honor him in our own way, and I don't really expect anyone else to understand besides this dude right here (her brother)," she explained. "I'm just happy to be with him."

Michael's 60th birthday was also commemorated by his sister Janet Jackson, 52, who released her own re-imagined version of the video to his 1992 hit "Remember the Time". In the video, made with internet comedy star Kwaylon Rogers, she took on the role of an Egyptian queen - a part originally played by the model Iman - who starred alongside Eddie Murphy in the nine-minute-long original directed by John Singleton.

Fans across the world also shared their memories of the King of Pop on social media - dubbing Wednesday "Michael Jackson day."
