'Titans' Gets Premiere Date, Reveals Official Images of Raven, Beast Boy and More

The 12-part first season of the upcoming DC Entertainment series is slated to premiere on October 12.

AceShowbiz - DC Entertainment's "Titans" has revealed two huge information. In addition to its premiere date, the long-awaited DC Universe streaming service's series has unearthed first official images of its four characters including Starfire, Beast Boy, Raven and obviously Robin a.k.a. Dick Grayson.

It is announced that the superhero series will arrive much sooner than fans think. The 12-part first season is slated to premiere on October 12.

While fans have seen Starfire, Beast Boy and Raven before through some leaked set photos, the new images serve as the first official promo pictures of the characters. The four photos give somewhat similar vibe as it features the character posing against a green-ish background.

Beast Boy a.k.a. Garfield Logan (Ryan Potter) is seen scouting while giving his fierce gaze at the camera. His ability is to transform into any animal. Meanwhile, Raven a.k.a. Rachel Roth (Teagan Croft) oozes eerie atmosphere in her photo. The offspring of a demon and a human, who has various magical abilities, holds a baby doll close to her chest.

On the other hand, Starfire a.k.a. Koriand'r (Anna Diop) is an alien with the ability to absorb ultraviolet radiation as well as convert it for a variety of uses. She flaunts her ability in her photo as fire blasts behind her. The last photo features a new look at Brenton Thwaites' Robin. It gives a better look at his iconic R emblem.

Also starring Alan Ritchson and Minka Kelly as Hawk and Dove respectively, "Titans" will follow young soon-to-be superheroes that come from every corner of the DC Universe who are led by Grayson. On this action-packed series, Dick Grayson emerges from the shadows to become the leader of a fearless band of new heroes.

Akiva Goldsman and Geoff Johns serve as executive producers alongside Greg Berlanti and Sarah Schechter. Johns, Berlanti and Goldman also pen the script for the live-action series.
