AceShowbiz - Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez nearly ran into her ex-boyfriend, Casper Smart, when they all enjoyed dinner at Craig's in West Hollywood on Monday night, August 27. Luckily, the couple successfully avoided any awkward moment with the dancer.
An eyewitness told Entertainment Tonight that Jenny and Alex were dining with her manager, Benny Medina, while Casper went there for a business dinner. The three allegedly didn't speak nor even see each other at the restaurant as a second onlooker said that the power couple left through the back door just minutes after Casper arrived.
The run-in aside, the three definitely looked stunning during the night out. Jenny and Alex opted for casual looks, with the former leaning more to sporty style in navy-and-white tracksuit. Her hair was arranged in a half updo hairstyle as she completed her ensemble with black shades and a white handbag.
On the other hand, the retired baseball player looked preppy in a powder blue sweater with a white button-down underneath. He paired it up with khaki pants, sunglasses and white sneakers. Casper also kept a low profile, wearing a black denim jacket and matching pants and hat.
While the three managed to avoid meeting each other this time, Casper failed to escape a run-in with his singer ex-girlfriend last year. The California native accidentally ran into the "Shades of Blue" star when she was enjoying a girls night out with Leah Remini at El Foridita nightclub in Los Angeles.
Jenny and Casper first sparked romance rumors back in 2011 before confirming their relationship in July 2012, two years before she and Marc Anthony finalized their divorce. The former couple broke up in August 2016 due to alleged cheating. The "Second Act" actress dates Alex afterward.
