The country singer wants to help those who are still recovering by donating $1.41 from each album sale to the Rebuild Texas Fund.

AceShowbiz - Country singer Aaron Watson is donating proceeds from his Aaron Watson Live at the World's Biggest Rodeo Show album to benefit the victims of Hurricane Harvey.

The powerful 2017 storm killed over 100 people in state's like Watson's native Texas and he wants to draw attention to those still recovering by donating $1.41 from each album sale to the Rebuild Texas Fund.

"Twelve months ago, it was the front page of every paper," Watson tells People magazine. "It was the headline on every channel. It was trending on social (media), and 12 months later, nobody talks about it."

"The fact of the situation is that in 12 months, you can't overcome $125 million in damage impacting 13 million people in 41 Texas counties. I mean, I'm pretty sure that 13 million people in 41 Texas counties is larger than a lot of states, and that's just the south Texas coast."

"Texas is home," he adds. "The Texas music scene is my bread and butter and what's taken care of me and my family for all these years."
