AceShowbiz - Katy Perry is raising funds for musicians in crisis by selling her own special festival tickets.

The superstar is due to play at the KAABOO Del Mar festival in San Diego, California on September 16, and has teamed up with officials at the U.S. Recording Academy's charity MusiCares to sell an exclusive Katy Cares pass that lets fans in just to see her.

Tickets cost $89 (£70), with a portion of the profits going to the non-profit, which was established in 1989 to help musicians who fall on hard times.

On her Instagram page, the "Firework" singer promised that those who come to see her show will be in for a treat, as the gig will feature a new set, new costumes, and, "MEGA drama!!".
