AceShowbiz - Kelly Clarkson, Leona Lewis and Louis Tomlinson were among the stars who lit up the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Wednesday, August 22 to salute Simon Cowell. The pop trio, who all found fame on the music mogul's TV talent shows in the U.K. and America, joined Cowell's girlfriend Lauren Silverman and their four-year-old son Eric as the man of the moment unveiled the 2,642nd star on the famous sidewalk.
Also making it to the ceremony were "American Idol" star-turned-Queen frontman Adam Lambert, Cowell's fellow "America's Got Talent" judges Melanie Brown a.k.a. Mel B, Howie Mandel and Heidi Klum, two stars from his hit British show "Britain's Got Talent", Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden, and former Fifth Harmony star Ally Brooke, while another ex "American Idol" favorite, Katharine McPhee turned up with her new fiance, composer and songwriter David Foster.
Simon Cowell is honored with the 2,642nd star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The British music mogul thanked his "rock" and longtime partner Lauren Silverman in his speech.
The couple's son Eric also came to support his father.
Simon's fellow "America's Got Talent" judges Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel and Mel B were all smiles while posing with the honoree. In his speech, Cowell said of celebs who came to the ceremony, "What I am most proud about is that we have become friends as well as business partners."
Kelly Clarkson credited Cowell for helping change her life when she competed on "American Idol" where Cowell served as one of the judges.
Leona Lewis, who was signed to Cowell's record label Syco Music after winning U.K.'s "The X Factor" in 2006, didn't miss the event.
Perhaps trying not to steal the spotlight, One Direction hottie Louis Tomlinson kept a casual look while supporting his former mentor on "The X Factor".
Another "American Idol" alum, Katharine McPhee, came with her fiance David Foster.
