AceShowbiz - A forgotten Mick Jagger and Carly Simon duet has been unearthed by a Rolling Stones collector.

The track, which experts believe was titled Fragile, was recorded over 45 years ago.

It was found recently on a tape owned by Matt Lee, who has passed it on to Simon via staff at Rolling Stone magazine after she spoke about recording with Jagger during a 2016 interview for the publication.

"We had this little back and forth at the piano for about an hour," Simon said.

According to the magazine, Jagger is the lead voice on the recording, while Simon sings harmony.

The song ends with a female voice, believed to be that of Carly, stating, "Good song".

Simon and Jagger worked together in 1972 when the Rolling Stones frontman reportedly provided backing vocals on her biggest hit You're So Vain.

Many believed for years that Mick was the subject of the song, but Simon has denied that.
