AceShowbiz - Will season 11 of "The Real Housewives of New York City" be without Bethenny Frankel"? Rumor has it, the star exits the long-running Bravo series as the 47-year-old "hasn't signed on yet" for the new season while the production is set to begin around Labor Day.
"Bethenny's contract is much more complex than the other Housewives' contracts," a source reveals to Us Weekly. "She's usually late to the game when it comes to signing on but she doesn't hold up production and she usually confirms just in time."
Another source notes that the star is giving time to herself in the wake of the death of her on-off love Dennis Shields. The businessman was found dead from suspected drug overdose at his room in Trump Tower on Friday, August 10. "It has been a tough time for her and she is just trying to mourn the loss of Dennis right now. She hasn’t thought about when she'll be ready to get back to work yet," the second source explains.
If Bethenny needs time, Bravo reportedly doesn't hesitate to give her some. "They are giving her space to grieve and letting her make the decision of when the right time is for her to return," adds the source.
Following Dennis' death, Bethenny took to Instagram to pay tribute to him. "Rest In Peace my sweet babies who gave me endless unconditional love #nowandforever," she wrote alongside a picture of Dennis, whom she began dating in 2016.
The reality TV star also thanked fans who sent messages of support after the tragic news broke. She wrote, "Thank you," along with a love heart emoji.
