The 'Bodak Yellow' hitmaker left out her husband in her acceptance speech and walked past him after collecting her Best New Artist trophy at the ceremony.

AceShowbiz - Cardi B was among the winners at the 2018 MTV Video Music Awards, which was also attended by her husband Offset. They, however, might not celebrate her joyful victory together. In fact, the Migos rapper didn't look that excited with his wife's achievement that night.

The "Bartier Cardi" hitmaker was named Best New Artist at the Monday, August 20 event. She left out Offset in her acceptance speech. "I had the baby, I carried the baby, and I'm still winning awards!" she said on the stage. "All the love that my fans, that my friends, that everybody shows me is genuine, is beautiful, and that's something that god gives me, that you can't buy, b***h."

The 25-year-old, who debuted her new pixie hairdo at the show, later ignored Offset when she got off the stage. She walked past the Georgia-born rapper, who was seated next to his Migos groupmate Quavo, without even looking at him when heading backstage. Offset himself just sat still, without trying to come in contact with her or congratulate her on her win.

As if it's not suspicious enough, the two arrived separately on the red carpet. Cardi, who wowed in a velvet fuchsia dress, graced the red carpet alone, while Offset once again was joined by Quavo. The pair didn't pose together although they came close to running into each other.

But fans can rest assured that Cardi and Offset are still together. Though the video and red carpet photos didn't capture any interactions between the two hip-hop stars, Offset reportedly came over and gave her a sweet kiss after her acceptance speech.

Cardi and Offset's lack of interactions at the MTV VMAs comes after she reportedly left her husband and took their daughter Kulture with her. The raptress recently hopped on a private jet with her daughter, sans her husband, from Atlanta to New York City, ahead of the awards-giving show. It was said that her trip to NYC was not temporary as she posted a cryptic message on Instagram Stories, "Hope it was worth it."
