'Ninety-five percent of people love the fact that I still do it,' the model says of her decision of still breastfeeding her 2-and-a-half-year-old daughter.

AceShowbiz - Coco Austin has defended her decision to continue breastfeeding her daughter.

The 39-year-old glamour model and rapper/actor Ice-T welcomed their first child, Chanel Nicole Marrow, in November 2015.

The new mum was lucky enough to have an easy-going breastfeeding journey, and has shared countless pictures on social media of her nursing her two-year-old daughter.

While most of her three million Instagram followers support her decision to continue breastfeeding her toddler, Coco has faced a barrage of criticism on social media.

"Ninety-five percent of people love the fact that I still do it," she told E! News. "But then there's that five percent that like, want to attack. We'll get to that point where we'll say, 'Hey, OK, it's done'."

One comment on Coco's most recent nursing photo read: "Sad when moms resort to breastfeeding as a sexy marketing tool - I guess when you have NO other talents," while another posted: "She is very beautiful and baby is adorable but she is not breastfeeding here. She is showcasing."

Despite the negativity, Coco is still persevering and revealed Chanel, who turns three in November, is using breastfeeding purely for comfort.

"Breastfeeding of course, you know, when they're young, they need you for nutrition," she explained. "It's more of a blankie-type thing. Instead of her having a blanket, she has the boob."

And Coco confessed that she won't be adding any more babies to her and Ice-T's brood.

"I think about this over and over because I love being a mom... but the way we travel is so extremely hard. Honestly, I think our life fits one child only," she admitted. "I don't think Chanel would like a baby sister or a baby brother. She gets jealous! Chanel gets jealous around other kids."

Ice-T is also father to two adult children from previous relationships.
