AceShowbiz - Actress Sophie Turner has blamed period hormones for breaking down in tears in the middle of New York City on her fiance Joe Jonas's birthday.
The Game of Thrones star was photographed crying as she walked by Joe's side on Wednesday, August 15, when she tried to hide her face by holding her head down and her left hand over her eyes.
Her singer beau, who turned 29, appeared to be comforting Sophie as he wrapped his arm around her waist.
The snaps sparked concern among fans on social media, but the Brit took to Twitter on Thursday to play down the incident as she shared one article, which was headlined, "Joe Jonas Consoles Sophie Turner On His Birthday in New York City".

The images emerged two days after Joe and Sophie kicked off the pop star's birthday week in Miami, Florida, where they were spotted enjoying a few drinks and making out in public.
The couple became engaged last November (17) after a year of dating.
