AceShowbiz - Sir Tom Jones has apologised to fans after a bacterial infection forced him to scrap a series of shows in the U.K. and Europe.
The 78 year old missed five dates while he was recovering in hospital, and a sixth rescheduled concert at Chester Racecourse in England on Sunday, August 12 was also cancelled due to a thunderstorm.
He has now taken to Twitter to apologise for the cancelled gigs, writing: "Many thanks to all who came out for our show this summer. We all had a wonderful time onstage, sharing great music, fantastic vibes, enjoying the long summer glow.
"Apologies again for the shows that didn't happen, but hope to see you all soon next time, next place."
