AceShowbiz - The quarterfinals of "America's Got Talent" season 13 aired on Tuesday, August 14. The 12 contestants were upping their games to secure a place in the next round. First to take the stage was Mochi. The diabolo juggler continued to awe judges as he combined juggling and epic visuals.

Heidi Klum called him the "best diabolo artist in the world." Meanwhile, Simon Cowell suggested that it would be "fantastic" to make his act a show.

Following him was the Human Fountains. After getting a wild card, they were determined to prove their worth. The group was seen spitting and somehow making a hot dog. Simon hit his red buzzer when one of them ate the hot dog. But that was not the worst. They spit water to the judges' table, prompting Simon to say that this was the "most stupid act we've ever had on the finals."

The Angel City Chorale later hit the stage, performing "This Is Me" from "The Greatest Showman". Despite the fact that the song was chosen by many other contestants, the powerful choir managed to deliver something new with the song by bringing in a band. Melanie Brown a.k.a. Mel B praised the group by saying that they were uplifting. Simon and Howie Mandel declared themselves as huge fans of the choir.

The PAC Dance Team performed next. They opted for "Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory" theme for that night, combining fun and fierce in an epic stage performance. Mel B said that was their best performance "by far." That performance unfortunately didn't get to change Howie's mind. "I still don't get it," he said.

Amanda Mena, who earned Mel B's golden buzzer, was up next. She sang a Spanish and English rendition of Pink's "What About Us". The 14-year-old got standing ovation by the four judges at the end of her beautiful performance. When Simon noted that Amanda should be in a group, Mel B cut him off and said, "She is a solo artist, and she always will be a solo artist."

Junior New System mixed dancing and acrobatics in their incredible performance. They traded their sneakers for stilettos in the second half of their performance. Howie said he would love to see them performing in stilettos in the entirety of the performance, while Simon just loved it.

We Three then took the stage to perform another original song which they sung heartily. "I love everything about you," Mel B said. But Simon didn't really find their performance interesting, saying, "I don’t think this worked tonight."

Lord Nil was back with another deadly act. That night, he was chained and locked underwater. He got to escape and later helped his love and partner, who was suspended over 20 deadly rattlesnakes. Mel B wasn't digging at the performance. Howie later joked, "You wouldn't do that to your ex-husband?" prompting Mel B to snap, "Of course I would."

After the performances of Flau-jae, Shin Lim and Vicki Barbolak, Courtney Hadwin rounded out the night. She belted out James Brown's "Papa's Got a Brand New Bag" and everyone was amazed by it. It was only natural for her to earn standing ovation. Simon totally loved it, saying, "It was outstanding!"
