AceShowbiz - Jason Aldean and wife Brittany Kerr, who are expecting their second child together, have announced their baby's gender via Instagram. The "You Make It Easy" hitmaker recorded the moment when his daughters from previous marriage, Kendyl and Keeley, discovered the gender of their half-sibling on Sunday, August 12.
"Today we are doing the gender reveal," Brittany announced in the video, before she asked Kendyl and Keeley, "Are you excited? Okay Kendyl, what do you think?" Both of them guessed they would have a little sister because Jason and Brittany already share 8-month-old son Memphis.
"Are we gonna have a brother or a sister? What do you want?" Brittany asked Memphis in the footage. "Probably brother," the beauty blogger assumed. Jason and his family then were seen in an open field where his daughters prepared to hit balls with baseball bats to reveal the baby's gender. "Jason and I already know what it is, but this is for the girls, to see their excitement," the former cheerleader explained while cradling Memphis.
The country singer and his wife counted to three before throwing the balls at Kendyl and Keeley. One of the balls hit Keeley's bat and exploded into pink dust, indicating that the couple was expecting a girl. After successfully discovering the gender, Keeley could be heard screaming excitedly in the video.
Fans of Jason were also excited as they congratulated the couple in the comment section. "SO EXCITING. OMG SHE'S GOING TO BE SO BEAUTIFUL xo. She has no idea how lucky and blessed she is to be born into such an incredible family. Congratulations @brittanyaldean @jasonaldean," one fan wrote. "Awesome. Congratulations! Beautiful couple making beautiful babies," another fan added. "Congratulations girls are beautiful and Memphis is already a little Jason," an individual praised.
The happy parents previously opened up about their struggle to have a child, claiming that they had tried for so long. "It was the longest process," Brittany revealed during "Babes and Babies" podcast. "It was such a roller coaster and I ended up, through it all, having endometriosis. After a year and a half of trying, they're finally like, 'We think you might have endometriosis.' I'm like, 'Uh...after all that, are you kidding me?' "
Brittany then had a laparascopy to heal the endometriosis and she finally ended up getting pregnant. "Because you expect to be pregnant and then you're not. And that happened to us multiple times," the blonde beauty said. "So then when we finally ended up getting pregnant, it was the most exciting thing ever because we had tried for so long."
