The 'Murder on the Dancefloor' singer reveals that she and her husband have yet to find out if they are having a boy or a girl.

AceShowbiz - Sophie Ellis-Bextor is expecting her fifth child with her husband Richard Jones.

The "Murder On The Dancefloor" singer, who already shares four sons with The Feeling bassist, announced the happy news while discussing her new album on Chris Evans' BBC Radio 2 breakfast show on Friday, August 10.

She revealed that the couple is yet to find out if they are having a boy or a girl to join sons Sonny, 14, Kit, nine, Ray, six, and Jesse, three.

"The album will come out around the same time as my fifth infant because I'm having my fifth baby. Mental!" the 39-year-old shared with Chris to cheers and claps from staff in the studio.

Asked if motherhood became any easier with more children, the singer replied: "No I don't think it does, but I think you get more relaxed with the chaos."

She added: "I've just had a week away with Richard and five kids because our eldest brought a mate and I took a book, which now seems like the most optimistic thing I could have done. It didn't even get opened."

Sophie was spotted last month rocking a loose-fitting dress and what appeared to be a small baby bump at the British Summertime Festival in London's Hyde Park.

With her new album, "The Song Diaries", scheduled for an autumn release, it's believed she is in the third trimester of her pregnancy.

The "Groovejet" hitmaker and musician Richard married in 2005 and have been together for nearly 14 years, after welcoming their first child just eight months after they met.
