After rescheduling the dates, the 'My All' hitmaker now cancels the tour altogether due to a 'scheduling conflict.'

AceShowbiz - Mariah Carey has cancelled her rescheduled tour of Australia and New Zealand.

The American diva was originally scheduled to tour the two countries in February, but moved her trip back to September and October.

On Friday, August 10, the Touch My Body singer announced the gigs had been cancelled due to a "scheduling conflict", and explained that she was working on new music.

"It is with much regret that I am unable to visit Australia & New Zealand later this year, however I promise to find new dates soon," Mariah explained in a statement posted to her Australian Facebook page. "I've been working away on new music and I cannot wait to share it with you later this year."

A representative for her promoters, MJR Presents, added: "We are disappointed that Mariah's shows are cancelled but look forward to hearing her new material soon"

She was due to play four shows Down Under in September then head to New Zealand, before playing three Australian dates the following month.

The cancellation of her tour comes after Mariah pulled out of an August performance at England's Livewire Festival.

In July the star returned to her Las Vegas residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, where she begins a run of six dates on August 31.

Mariah has now gone more than four years without releasing a studio album, and her last single, 2017's "I Don't", failed to break into the top 80 of the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 singles chart.
