The 39-year-old previously took to Twitter to offer himself as a host a show from the house.

AceShowbiz - Lance Bass is reportedly set to meet with HGTV bosses to discuss hosting a show from "The Brady Bunch" house.

Executives from the U.S. lifestyle channel broke the former NSYNC members heart earlier this month when they outbid him to secure the property in Studio City, Los Angeles - which doubled as the setting for the iconic 1970s sitcom.

Lance isn't bearing any grudges however, and will meet HGTV chiefs to talk about their plans to restore the house to its 1970s form inside and out next week (end August 12), according to TMZ.com.

The 39-year-old has already offered to host a show from the house, and HGTV producers are reportedly keen to involve him in a series centred around the restored house.

The ex-pop star initially expressed outrage he lost out on the house, claiming he had already agreed a deal with the seller but was then outbid.

However, he softened his views when he found out the identity of the buyer, writing on Twitter "HGTV??! Aw man. I'd be pretty upset if it were anyone else, but how can you be mad at HGTV? My television is stuck on that channel.

"Kudos HGTV, I know you will do the right thing with the house. That was always my biggest worry. I can smile again."

Network chiefs plan to send in renovation experts to restore the house to its original glory and then use it to host shows.

"The Brady Bunch", a sitcom centred around Mike Brady, a widowed architect, his new wife Carol and their large blended family of three sons and three daughters, ran from 1969 to 1974 but has retained its popularity due to syndicated repeats and spin-off shows and movies.
