AceShowbiz - Fans now know when "House of Cards" will bow with its sixth and final season. Netflix announced on Tuesday, August 7 that the upcoming sixth season of the series would premiere on November 2.

In addition to the premiere date announcement, "House of Cards" unearthes a new key art for the final season. The new poster features Robin Wright's Claire Underwood taking center stage as President of the United States.

Donning a blue dress, Claire is seen sitting victoriously on the Lincoln Memorial chair. The poster gives a creepy vibe as Claire grips her seat so thightly that she spills her blood all over the chair.

The poster looks familiar for fans as it looks identical to the show's season 1 poster, though the latter featured former star Kevin Spacey's Francis Underwood perching on the chair. "The Final Season. November 2. #MyTurn," the official Twitter account of the series captions the new snap.

Upcoming 8-part season 6 will be led by Wright following the exit of Spacey, who was fired over sexual misconduct allegations. Production on the sixth season was halted last year following multiple misconduct allegation against the actor, which later led to him being fired from the series.

In addition to some "House of Cards" crew members, "Star Trek: Discovery" actor Anthony Rapp was among people who came forward with sexual misconduct allegations levelled against the Oscar-winning actor.

Also starring in the new season are Greg Kinnear, Diane Lane, Michael Kelly, Jayne Atkinson, Patricia Clarkson, Constance Zimmer, Derek Cecil, Campbell Scott, Boris McGiver and Cody Fern.
