'To all the people that been checkn (sic) on me thank you I'm in the best shape of my life!' the rapper says, apparently trying to put everyone at ease.

AceShowbiz - French Montana has broken his silence after the reported invasion at his home, insisting he is fine.

Armed robbers reportedly broke into the 33-year-old's property in a guarded, gated community in Calabasas, California last month, while several people were at home.

Montana has now taken to Instagram for the first time, explaining he didn't feel a need to comment on the alleged break-in.

"Since they wanna have helicopters on top of my house all day, and spread negative news and only show half of my house lol (laugh out loud)!! Here's the full house, and by the way it's paid for !! no mortgage, and it's not my only one motivation to everyone that come from nothing (sic)," he writes alongside a picture of the mansion.

"To all the people that been checkn (sic) on me thank you I'm in the best shape of my life!," he adds. "I'm not a clout chaser, and I don't jump on the internet as soon as things happen ! I Liv (sic) a real life ! That can't be on the Internet sometimes ! U might find your girl here u ain't going to find no money we keep it in the bank. I'm not your average rapper (sic)."

A representative of the Calabasas Sheriff Department previously told People that at least two armed male suspects forced entry into the rapper's mansion. Deputies responded to a call at 8am but the suspects had already fled by the time they arrived at the scene.

It's not known what, if anything, was taken during the alleged break-in and detectives have not named any suspects.

The Unforgettable hitmaker purchased the home in 2016 from Selena Gomez, who had to deal with a number of stalkers while living there.
