The Canadian star's latest achievement means the album currently boasts the longest stretch at the pinnacle of the chart for 2018.

AceShowbiz - Drake has extended his reign over the U.S. albums chart by making it five weeks at the top with Scorpion.

The God's Plan hitmaker's latest chart domination means Scorpion currently boasts the longest stretch at the pinnacle of the Billboard 200 for 2018 after debuting at number one upon its release in late June.

It also becomes the first album to enjoy its first five weeks at number one since Drake's Views ruled the countdown for an initial nine weeks in 2016, and scores another first as the project to have the most consecutive weeks at number one since The Weeknd's Starboy in early 2017.

Trailing behind Scorpion is Kenny Chesney with Songs for the Saints, which debuts at two.

Post Malone's beerbongs & bentleys and Juice WRLD's Goodbye & Good Riddance follow at three and four, respectively.

Cardi B's Invasion of Privacy stays put in the fifth spot.
