"The Facts of Life", a spin-off of "Diff'rent Strokes", aired in America from 1979 to 1988, and starred Charlotte Rae as a housemother at a fictitious all-girl New York boarding school.

The series, famous for focusing on teen issues such as sex and eating disorders, also featured Lisa Whelchel, Kim Fields, Mindy Cohn, and Nancy McKeon.
