AceShowbiz - After surprising fans with their collaboration announcement, Bazzi and Camila Cabello has finally released their remix of "Beautiful". Released on Thursday, August 2, the track features a beautiful harmonization between the two musicians.
The three-minute song opens with Bazzi singing his own lines before the Cuban songstress comes in for the second verse. "Painted in your golden kiss/ Honey dripping from your lips/ I thank God and my lucky stars/ Darling, don't you know what you are?" she sings, before providing harmonization for Bazzi who handles the chorus.
He said of their collaboration, "Working with Camila is really cool because she gives a similar vibe of what I'm trying to portray. A nod to 80s nostalgic music that really creates an experience. I think she really captures that, and I'm excited to hear our moment together."
Meanwhile, Camila revealed that she wrote her own verses for the song. "Bazzi opened for us on the 'Never Be the Same Tour' after I came across 'Mine' and 'Beautiful'," she said. "I fell more and more in love with it hearing it backstage every night, and a couple weeks ago on a day off from shows in Washington D.C., I went to a studio there and wrote a verse to the song. It's one of my favorite songs out right now. I hope people love it as much as I do."
The original version of "Beautiful" is included on Bazzi's debut album "Cosmic", which was released on April 12.
Camila is currently opening up for Taylor Swift on her record-breaking "Reputation" tour. On the other hand, Bazzi is currently traveling across the country for his "Cosmic" tour, which is set to wrap up next week in Chicago. He will then join Justin Timberlake in August for the European leg of his "Man of the Woods" tour.
