AceShowbiz - Leonardo DiCaprio has become an investor in sustainable footwear company Allbirds.
"The Revenant" star, who is involved in a number of environmentally-friendly companies and green campaigns, has been a fan of the company for a long time and his investment will help them continue to make products with eco-conscious materials, including their SweetFoam sole, which is made from renewable sugarcane.
The SweetFoam will be used on the company's new flip-flops, which are currently on sale for $35 (£27).
"Creating sustainable consumer products requires a deep commitment from brands that understand the role they have in helping solve our environmental crisis," DiCaprio explains in a statement to People magazine.
