AceShowbiz - The organisers of this weekend's (August 04-05) Brighton Pride festival in the U.K. have shot down reports suggesting headliner Britney Spears will be a no-show.
The pop star is still scheduled to hit the stage on Saturday night, amid rumours of a cancellation, and concert bosses have assured fans that any suggestion she won't be there is "utter nonsense".
Devotees quizzed the organisers online when the reports began, and when they heard nothing they feared the worst.
When one fan tweeted: "People are treating you not replying as confirmation," the festival chiefs shot back: "It's utter nonsense - she's on her way," adding a screen shot of a post from Spears confirming she was all set to leave Los Angeles for the U.K.

The Toxic singer will stage her Piece of Me Las Vegas stageshow throughout the U.K. as part of a short tour, which will begin with the performance at Brighton Pride.
