The Vincent Can Gogh biopic made its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival in Italy.

AceShowbiz - Willem Dafoe's acclaimed new Vincent Van Gogh biopic will close the New York Film Festival on October 12.

The Julian Schnabel-directed "At Eternity's Gate", which also features Oscar Isaac as Paul Gauguin, Rupert Friend, Mathieu Amalric, Mads Mikkelsen, and Emmanuelle Seigner, makes its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival in Italy.

Dafoe, who was nominated for a 2018 Best Supporting Actor Oscar following his role "The Florida Project", is expected to be among the nominees again for this role.

Yorgos Lanthimos' "The Favourite" will open the New York Film Festival, while director Alfonso Cuaron's ROMA is expected to be another highlight.
