'I fantasise about it. It really was the greatest job I ever had,' Jennifer says in a new interview with InStyle.

AceShowbiz - Jennifer Aniston would jump at the opportunity to revive hit sitcom Friends with Courteney Cox and Lisa Kudrow because it's the "greatest job" she's ever had.

The actresses all shot to fame on the hit series, alongside Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, and David Schwimmer, and fans have been clamouring for a TV reunion since Friends' original 10-year run came to an end in 2004.

Jennifer and Courteney became real-life best friends off-set and have remained in constant contact with Lisa, and Aniston admits they are all keen for a Friends return - but LeBlanc would take some convincing after previously ruling out a comeback.

"Before that show ended, people were asking if we were coming back," Jennifer recalls in a new InStyle interview with her screenwriter friend Molly McNearney, the wife of talk show host Jimmy Kimmel.

"Courteney and Lisa and I talk about it," she continues. "I fantasise about it. It really was the greatest job I ever had. I don't know what it would look like today, but you never know. So many shows are being successfully rebooted.

"I know Matt LeBlanc doesn't want to be asked that question anymore. But maybe we could talk him into it."

Jennifer also wouldn't be opposed to tackling another classic show for a future revamp with Courtney and Lisa.

"(Maybe) Lisa, Courteney, and I could reboot The Golden Girls and spend our last years together on wicker furniture," the 49-year-old quips.

Earlier this year, LeBlanc made it clear he wanted to move on from playing dim-witted actor Joey Tribbiani on Friends in a candid interview with Britain's Femail magazine.

"I don't want to do it - simple," he declared, insisting the premise of the show, about six best friends living in New York City, wouldn't be the same now the castmembers are so much older.

"It was about a finite period in a person's life after college, before you settle down and start a family," he explained.

"To go back and revisit all these years later, well I don't know what the story would be now. They would all have moved on from that period so it just wouldn't be the same."

"Normally I'd never say never (to reprising a role), but in the case of Friends I would definitely say never," Matt added.
