Eddie Redmayne and Felicity Jones Reunite on 'The Aeronauts' Set

The 'Theory of Everything' stars meet again in the upcoming Victorian adventure drama as they're spotted on the film's set.

AceShowbiz - Eddie Redmayne and his "The Theory of Everything" co-star Felicity Jones will star in Amazon Studios' upcoming Victorian adventure drama "The Aeronauts". The Academy Award winner and the "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" actress were spotted hanging around on the project's set on Monday, July 30.

Redmayne, who takes the role of scientist James Glaisher, was photographed wearing a white shirt which he paired with a gray suit on the set. His hair was arranged in side-swipe mane.

On the other hand, Jones was seen donning a glamorous purple gown with a matching hat and a black cardigan. She completed the look with a pair of gold earrings and a gold badge on her cardigan. The 34-year-old actress will play pilot Amelia Wren.

"The Aeronauts" follows the extraordinary journey of hot air balloon pilot Amelia and scientist James in 1862. They travel together in an open balloon as they make discoveries. However, when their balloon ascend further, they are forced into an epic fight for survival to make it back on land again.

James Glaisher is a real person who flew 37,000 feet in the air using a hot air balloon. During his journey to the highest reaches of the atmosphere in 1862, he was accompanied by male aeronaut Henry Coxwell. They suffered from blurry vision and they struggled to keep their consciousness during the journey, but they successfully landed their balloon on land again.

The project will be directed by Tom Harper, whose credits include "The Woman in Black: Angel of Death" and "Peaky Blinders", while Todd Lieberman and David Hoberman will serve as producers. The duo previously produced Academy Award nominee "Wonder". Amazon Studios has also hired "Wonder" screenwriter Jack Thorne to write the project's script. The release date of the project is still unknown.
