The director takes to Twitter to share an image of the 'Narcos' actor in his 1980s look from the upcoming superhero movie.

AceShowbiz - Patty Jenkins is being generous again, sharing another photo from "Wonder Woman 1984". This time, the director took to Twitter to post an official first image of Pedro Pascal in the upcoming sequel to the 2017 movie.

The "Game of Thrones" alum wears a three-piece pinstripe suit and his hair is neatly parted on one side, giving off a strong 1980s vibe. He's sitting in the backseat of a car while giving a sharp look at the camera. "Can't...Stop... Watching... @PedroPascal1 !!! #WW84" Jenkins captioned it.

So far, that's the only thing officially released about Pascal's role in the movie. However, after looking at the image, fans are speculating that the actor could be playing Maxwell Lord in the "Wonder Woman" sequel.

First introduced in 1987's "Justice League" No. 1, Lord is depicted as a smooth businessman who would manipulate heroes into joining a new version of the super-team that he was connected to as part of a nefarious plan to save the world. Decades later, he's revealed to be a paranoid megalomaniac who tried to take over the world to "save" it from superheroes, forcing Wonder Woman to kill him.

Previously, there was rumor that Pascal might play Doctor Psycho, Wonder Woman's frequent nemesis who created a powerful body out of ectoplasm that looked like Steve Trevor and fought Diana Prince as Captain Wonder in the comic book. This speculation was linked to Chris Pine's return as Diana's love interest despite his apparent death in the first movie.

The sequel is set in 1984, against the backdrop of the Cold War, and will feature Gal Gadot's titular Amazonian warrior princess facing off with her nemesis Cheetah a.k.a. Barbara Minerva, played by Kristen Wiig. Minerva is a British anthropologist and heiress who gained the powers of the cheetah after an expedition to an African jungle. She becomes obsessed with gaining treasures held by Diana Prince (such as her lasso of truth.)

The movie is scheduled for a November 1, 2019 release in the United States.
