The Palestinian record producer urges fans not to worry about the singer as she has God on her side.

AceShowbiz - Demi Lovato's former tourmate DJ Khaled has assured fans the singer will be fine six days after she suffered a reported overdose at her home in Hollywood.

The rapper, who hit the road with Demi earlier this year, has urged fans not to worry about the Cool For the Summer singer, because she has God on her side and "God is great".

Speaking to TMZ in New York on Monday, July 30, Khaled said, "I love Demi and Demi's gonna be great. I heard she's getting better.

"I love you and all your fans love you... She's gonna get better."

Demi, who also worked with DJ Khaled on the soundtrack to Disney film A Wrinkle in Time, has spent the past six days in hospital following the medical emergency.

Initial reports suggested the singer had suffered a heroin overdose but that appears not to be the case.

Sources close to the singer claimed she was still a patient at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles on Monday, six days after her apparent overdose.

An insider told TMZ she is "very, very sick" with extreme nausea and a high fever - complications related to the original overdose. It's still unclear when she'll be allowed to leave the hospital.
