Danielle's husband Marty Caffrey tweets that the reality TV star isn't what she 'pretended to be,' while her representative confirms that 'Danielle is having some difficulties with her marriage right now.'

AceShowbiz - Danielle Staub and her husband Marty Caffrey may have the shortest honeymoon phase ever. In fact, the couple has reportedly split up, after just two months of marriage. Marty told Radar Online which first reported the news that he "is divorcing Danielle Staub."
Marty didn't provide other details about the split, but he appeared to shade his now-estranged wife on social media. He reportedly tweeted to Danielle, "Sorry things didn’t work out baby. You aren’t what you pretended to be. Sad." He deleted the message two hours later, though.
A representative for "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" star has since confirmed that there are troubles in her marriage, but doesn't say if they're divorcing. "Danielle is having some difficulties with her marriage right now and is hoping everything will work out," the rep states.
Danielle and Marty began dating in April 2016. He proposed to her in May 2017 on the grounds of a beautiful mansion, with a violinist playing Pachelbel's "Canon in D" and a handful of couples dancing around them. The romantic proposal was captured on camera and featured in a season 8 episode of "RHONJ".
The two said "I do" in May this year in a sunset bohemian beach ceremony held on the Bahamas' North Bimini Island at the Luna Beach Club. Her "RHONJ" co-stars Teresa Giudice, Melissa Gorga and Margaret Josephs served as bridesmaids at the event, which was filmed for the Bravo reality series' upcoming ninth season. The intimate wedding was attended by less than 100 guests.
Prior to the wedding day, she opened up about her excitement to get hitched, "It's different when you're a girlfriend, and then it's different when you're a fiancee, the stages are all different. When it gets real, and we did our rehearsal last night, and we did our fake I do's, it's like, oh my God, we're almost married."
Danielle was previously married to former FBI informant Kevin Maher from 1986 to 1987 and to businessman Thomas N. Staub from 1993 to 2007. She has two daughters with her latter ex, Christine and Jillian.
