Thomas Markle claims in a new interview that the Duchess of Sussex and the royal family have 'cut me off completely.'

AceShowbiz - Model and TV personality Chrissy Teigen has hit out at the father of Meghan, Duchess Of Sussex after "embarrassing" the new British royal with his latest tabloid comments.
Thomas Markle hit headlines on Sunday, July 29 after publicly slamming the former "Suits" actress and her new in-laws for cutting off all contact with him following the drama surrounding his absence from the royal wedding in Windsor, England in May.
The 74-year-old initially pulled out of plans to walk Meghan down the aisle after coming under fire for staging a series of paparazzi photos, and then, after changing his mind and deciding to attend, ended up having to cancel his plans yet again as he required heart surgery.
Thomas has since repeatedly criticised his own daughter and her husband Prince Harry's family in various tabloid interviews, and this weekend (July 28-29), he complained to The Mail on Sunday about being unable to reach Meghan directly.
"I'm really hurt that she's cut me off completely," he grumbled to the newspaper. "I used to have a phone number and text number for her personal aides at the Palace, but after I said a few critical words about the royal family changing Meghan, they cut me off. "
He also claimed Harry's late mother, Diana, Princess of Wales, "would have loathed the way I've been treated", and complained about potentially missing out on meeting his future grandchildren because of the father-daughter estrangement.
"What's sad is that some time in the next year Meghan and Harry will have a baby and I'll be a grandfather," he said. "And if we're not speaking, I won't see my grandchild. How tragic is that - to deprive a child of its grandfather because I said a few things critical of the royal family?"
Thomas then turned on his girl, claiming "she'd be nothing" without him.
"I made her the Duchess she is today. Everything that Meghan is, I made her," he declared. "And did I get any recognition for it? Any thanks? She doesn't even speak to me now. How cold is that?"
Markle ended his rant by appearing to try and make amends for his outburst, insisting Meghan means "everything" to him, adding, "I love her and I always will."
The Duchess and representatives for the royal family have yet to address Thomas' latest remarks, but his ongoing public attack has made many social media users cringe at his desperation, including Chrissy Teigen.
The outspoken mother-of-two, who is married to singer John Legend, took to Twitter to share side-by-side images of articles addressing Markle's new rant, and admitted she was horrified on Meghan's behalf.
