AceShowbiz - Katie Holmes doesn't always need a first-class ride when traveling. The actress has proven that she has no problem taking a public transportation as she has been photographed enjoying an economical ride on the New York City subway.

The 39-year-old star joined fellow commuters as she traveled from Manhattan's Downtown towards Uptown on Thursday, July 26. Despite being worth an estimated $25 million, she easily blended in with other passengers while sitting in a subway car.

The "Logan Lucky" star opted for a casual outfit, wearing peach blouse and flared jeans paired with black slippers. She also wore sunglasses and carried a cream-colored bag. The mother of one read a book on the subway as she leaned her head to one side.

Stepping off the subway, the "Dawson's Creek" alum met up with a friend. She appeared relaxed and in good spirits as they had a conversation while walking together on the sidewalk.

Katie recently stepped out for a dinner date with long-rumored boyfriend Jamie Foxx in New York City, debunking split rumors. The pair were seen arriving together in a black SUV on July 16, with the 50-year-old actor helping his woman get off the car.

A couple of weeks before, Katie's representative responded to the split rumors which were first spread by online gossip site Radar Online, saying that those claims were "100 per cent untrue." It marks the first time the "Logan Lucky" star addressed their relationship, which has been the source of speculation for over five years.

Katie was previously married to Tom Cruise from 2006 until their divorce in 2012. They share a daughter, 12-year-old Suri Cruise, together. As for Jamie, he has two daughters, Corinne (born 1994) and Annalise (born 2009).
