While he hasn't reported Powell to the cops, Aaron warns her that it's illegal to threaten to have someone show up at a person's home.

AceShowbiz - Pop star Aaron Carter has taken aim at a rap groupie on social media after she allegedly threatened to publicise his personal details.

The I Want Candy singer took to Twitter on Wednesday night, July 25 to slam Celina Powell for apparently harassing him with multiple messages online.

In his post, Aaron shared a screenshot of the numerous direct messages he had reportedly received from Powell, who infamously lied about being impregnated by Cardi B's husband Offset earlier this year.

"Change your number on me and cut me off ? Wtf (what the f**k)," read one post, while in another she allegedly pleaded for his attention, writing, "Aaron ... I wanna be with you stop".

She also inquired about an ex, and then, when he failed to respond, wrote, "Lmfao (laughing my f**king a** off) you want your number and address posted? NO PROBLEM KID".

"Go for it," replied the 30-year-old, who subsequently went public with the odd messages, and tagged the Los Angeles Police Department in the post.

He also tried to get ahead of the drama by tweeting out his own number, and followed it up with another screenshot featuring Powell sneering, "Hope you have visitors soon".

He captioned it, "Threats won't be taken lightly."

Aaron tells The Blast he hasn't actually reported Powell's alleged actions to the cops, and simply wanted to warn her that it's illegal to threaten to have someone show up at a person's home.

The star, who is currently on tour, claims he only met Celina once, but the meeting at his house went from bad to worse, after she snapped an Instagram photo of herself wearing his chain and boasted about stealing it.

Aaron eventually asked her to leave as he realised she was only using him to boost her popularity online, and now he's dismissing rumours suggesting they were dating.

"Can't break up with somebody you were never with remember that," he posted on Twitter, adding, "Long story short I'm (single) dating (sic)".

Meanwhile, Powell, who recently accused Snoop Dogg of cheating on his wife with her, has issued a bizarre statement to The Blast, suggesting Aaron is lying about their Twitter exchanges.

"He deleted his side of our messages lol (laugh out loud) he's a nut case...," she wrote. "He lives in the ghetto and his chains are all fake. He's broke and I think it's well known that I only mess with successful people."
