'I will remember this entire experience with delight, humor, and a veracious accuracy,' the 54-year-old award-winning journalist says in a statement.

AceShowbiz - Carole Radziwill is bidding farewell to her "The Real Housewives of New York City" castmates. The 54-year-old award-winning journalist has decided to exit the Bravo reality show after she joined the show in season 5.

"After six seasons on Bravo's RHONY, I have decided to return to what I do best -- journalism and producing," Radziwill shares to PEOPLE.

The best-selling author continues saying, "I am sure this does not come as a surprise to any of the viewers, all of whom have been supportive, encouraging, and kind. My original curiosity about reality television has waned over the years and I am focusing on TV and writing projects that better suit my more steady temperament."

"I have worked with amazing producers, made great friends, and I'm thrilled to leave frenemies behind," Radziwill concludes. "I will remember this entire experience with delight, humor, and a veracious accuracy. Next."

Bethenny Frankel, seemingly one of her so-called frenemies, appears to be commenting on Radziwill's exit. She takes to Twitter to share a video of herself talking about how she might have a bad reaction to the served shellfish. "I would think many of you would want to poison me," she says in the video, before the camera pans to a straight-faced Radziwill.

According to TMZ, Radziwill's departure from the show has something to do with Frankel. The former is said to be feeling that Frankle is too bossy when it comes to cast members and that makes her feel "backballed."

The report adds that Frankel controls the show and uses her way to reduce Radziwill's screentime. Other cast members allegedly referred "RHONY" as "The Bethenny Show".

Radziwill joined "The Real Housewives of New York City" in season 5, when the show underwent a major shakeup as Frankel, Jill Zarin, Alex McCord and Kelly Bensimon left the show. Frankel, however, returned to the show later in season 7. Carole and her quickly became a friend, though they were reportedly feuding during the current season 10.

Also starring Luann de Lesseps, Frankel, Ramona Singer, Sonja Morgan, Dorinda Medley and Tinsley Mortimer, "The Real Housewives of New York City" season 10 airs on Wednesdays at 9 P.M. on Bravo.
