AceShowbiz - Josh Duhamel is single again. The 45-year-old actor and Eiza Gonzalez have reportedly called it quits after a few months of dating. "Their work schedules were tough on the relationship," a source tells PEOPLE about what caused the breakup.
Another source confirms the couple's split to Us Weekly, saying that the pair broke up "a couple of weeks ago" because "they just drifted apart." While neither Josh nor Eiza has released an official statement regarding their reported split, Daily Mail claims the "Transformers" actor confirmed the end of his relationship with Eiza as he allegedly told photographers after visiting a gym in L.A. on Monday, July 23, "If you are looking for Eiza, we're done."
The breakup news is surprising since just a few weeks ago, the couple had a vacation together. The two were spotted packing on the PDA while enjoying a romantic getaway near Muyil on the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico earlier this month.
The 28-year-old actress, who rocked a skimpy, sharkskin bikini, was pictured kissing her then-boyfriend while cupping his cheeks with her hands. Josh, meanwhile, opted for white board shorts which he wore beneath his life vest.
Josh and Eiza went public with their relationship in June, but a source said that they had "been quietly dating for months" at the time. They reportedly started dating less than five months after the "Safe Haven" star announced his split from Stacy Ferguson a.k.a. Fergie in September 2017 after eight years of marriage.
"Their relationship started out slowly, but lately, they are spending more time together. They seem very happy," a source said of Josh and Eiza's relationship before their split. However, Josh was reportedly not ready for a serious relationship.
"When he split with Fergie, Josh presumed he would be single for a year or so, and was kind of looking forward to it, but then he met Eiza and everything changed," a source said. "Josh really wasn't interested in anything serious, and at first they were just hooking up and keeping it casual, but he's really fallen for her in a big way."
