AceShowbiz - Ever since Pete Davidson and Ariana Grande announced their engagement, fans have been eager to find out when the lovebirds will tie the knot. And now some fans have come up with a new interesting theory about their wedding date.
They believe that the pop princess and the "Saturday Night Live" star will wed on August 4 this year, which is numerically spelled 8/4/18. Essentially, the date will be a way of honoring Pete's late father, a firefighter who died during a terrorist attack in New York City on September 11, 2001. "8418" is the badge number of his late father.
This theory apparently makes a lot of sense considering that the couple has been honoring his dad a couple of times. The lovebirds have the digits tattooed on their bodies. Pete has the number tattooed on his arm, while Ariana got a matching tattoo on her foot earlier this month. Furthermore, the funnyman recently shared that he gifted his singer fiancee a necklace featuring the badge number.
Neither Ariana nor Pete has responded to the fan theory.
Ariana and Pete got engaged last month, a few weeks after confirming their relationship. The couple receives a lot of backlash for their whirlwind romance, but they've been hitting back at the haters. Recently, the "No Tears Left to Cry" singer defended her decision to name one of the tracks off her upcoming album "Pete".
After one Instagram user argued that Ariana shouldn't have included a song about her fiance since they've only been together for a couple of months, the singer replied, "He's my fiance. This is my album. I'm an honest and emotional artist and human being and if my openness in my work isn't for you, that's OK; I won't be offended. Still wishing y'all the love in the world."
