AceShowbiz - Beyonce's sister Solange Knowles and mum Tina Lawson have sent messages of support to Michelle Williams as she undergoes treatment for depression.
The Destiny's Child singer announced on Tuesday, July 17 that she was seeking professional help for her battle with depression, and a number of celebrities have praised Michelle for going public with her mental health issues.
Solange, the sister of Michelle's former bandmate Beyonce, commented on her Instagram post, writing, "Love u so Michelle! Really proud of you. Sending u all the love in the world (sic)."
Solange and Beyonce's mother Tina commented, "Michelle My Belle, I'm so proud of you! You have given unselfishly of your time and support to so many and I know that you will be the best example of self-care which we all need. Keep being a warrior and an advocate for you. I love and support you with all my being."
She later added, "I so love and admire you amazing courage (sic)."
They weren't the only celebrities to send Michelle messages of support following her statement. Missy Elliott and original Destiny's Child member LaTavia Roberson added comments, as well as Oscar-winning actress Octavia Spencer, who wrote, "Yesssss. Sending prayers of strength your way."

Empire actor Jussie Smollett also posted, "I love you. Always have and always will. Honesty saves lives. Believe that. Keep soaring Queen."
In her statement, Michelle told fans, "For years I have dedicated myself to increasing awareness of mental health and empowering people to recognise when it's time to seek help, support and guidance from those that love and care for your wellbeing.
"I recently listened to the same advice I have given to thousands around the world and sought help from a great team of healthcare professionals."
According to TMZ.com, the 37-year-old admitted herself into a facility just outside of Los Angeles and has been receiving treatment there for several days.
