The 'Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again' star can't help singing the group's hits when she's boozed up, but she's not confident enough to sing them when she's sober.

AceShowbiz - Lily James loves to perform ABBA hits when she's drunk.
The star of Mamma Mia! sequel Here We Go Again admits she's always been a fan of the pop group's tunes and drove her brothers mad singing them around the house when she was younger, and so she was thrilled when she was cast as a young Meryl Streep for the movie musical.
Lily initially had to hide the casting news from her family and friends, but that didn't stop her drunkenly belting out ABBA's hits while wearing "sparkly dungarees" at her mother's birthday party, two months before she was officially announced as the star of the movie.
And she was boozed up again when she gave a less-than-perfect impromptu performance of the film's title song with ABBA's Benny Andersson after the recent London premiere.
"The problem was, Cher was at the party and there were whispers about her performing," Lily told late night TV host Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show on Tuesday, July 17. "Everyone was ushered into the room thinking Cher's going to sing, and we were a bit drunk singing along while Benny played Mamma Mia. It was a disaster."
But she's not confident enough to hit the karaoke stage and sing her favourite ABBA tunes when she's sober.
"I'm terrible at karaoke," she said.
