AceShowbiz - A massive statue of a reclining Jeff Goldblum has been erected in a London park to mark the 25th anniversary of "Jurassic Park".

The 25-foot-tall (7.6 meter) statue of the actor, which recreates a scene in the dinosaur epic during which his character, Dr. Ian Malcolm, lies breathless, his shirt unbuttoned, after being attacked by a Tyrannosaurus rex, overlooks the Rover Thames in Potters Field.

Fans have been flocking to see the odd landmark, commissioned by streaming service NowTV, although many have pointed out on Twitter the statue is an odd addition to the London tourist scene, as Jurassic Park wasn't filmed in the U.K. and Goldblum has no ties to the city.

The actor has reprised his Ian Malcolm character for new film "Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom".
